Fall Decorating...Just do it!

Once, a few years ago, I had the awful thought that, since it's just my husband and I, I'd stop seasonal decorating. Well, the weather cooled off, fall decor was everywhere in stores, and of course, I decorated! Sure, no one other than my husband and I saw it, but that's okay.

Instead of dragging out all of my fall decor, though, I watched a short reel that described simple seasonal decorating by just updating a few existing accents around the house, like flowers in a vases, couch throw blankets, decorative pillows, display books, etc. Basically, you just remove spring summer colored items and add warm fall tones in their place. Not only is the refresh pretty simple, but the result is softer, elegant, and not overdone. Yes, I know some ladies are so "over it" when it comes to seasonal decor, and that's perfectly okay, but for those of us that just love fall decor, go ahead an do it! Do it cheaper! Do it quicker! Do it for YOU!
