Stop Storing Seasonal Decor

Let's talk about stored holiday decor...

I've got them, and I bet you do too, bins and bins full of seasonal decor stored in the attic, garage, shed, or worse, a rented storage facility. Here is the problem with bins...you forget what's in them. So, what happens is you stroll through your favorites stores, all those aisles of holiday decor, and just buy new decor anyway. I know I do. After all, the trending styles are what you want, not those crushed orange fall leaves, or those leering jack-o-lanterns of times past. Same with Christmas decor. Maybe I'm doing a new color scheme this year. I'd rather spend the money, and time, purchasing new stuff, than try to make sense of all the stuff stored away.

So, this year, let's decide to greatly reduce, or even eliminate, most of what is in all those storage bins. Save the sentimental items, the heirlooms, the things the kids made in school, but everything else, donate it so someone else can enjoy it.
